POLICIES

PAYMENT:

Payment in the form of cash or check is expected within two weeks of the last day of your service. Checks may be made to Maro Keshishian or Philly Pet au Pair. Returned checks are subject to a $35.00 fee.

Please do not mail cash.

APPOINTMENTS:

In the event that you need to cancel an appointment, please notify Philly Pet au Pair at least 24 hours prior to service. A voice mail message is acceptable. Should you fail to provide notification, you be billed a $25.00 cancellation fee. In the event that Philly Pet au Pair must cancel an appointment (which has yet to happen in 17 years!) every effort will be made to contact you as far in advance as possible.

HEALTH:

You must disclose any and all health concerns prior to care taking place by Philly Pet au Pair.

VACCINES:

All animals cared for by Philly Pet au Pair must be current on all vaccinations. You will be asked to sign a policy agreement form stating that your pet is up to date on any and all necessary vaccinations prior to service.

REFUSAL OF SERVICE:

Philly Pet au Pair reserves the right to refuse service to animals that are overly aggressive, severely matted, or with health issues requiring a visit to the veterinarian. 

DOG AND CAT GROOMING:

MATTING:

In the event that your dog or cat is matted, Philly Pet au Pair has two options: de-mat at your expense or shave the coat and start over. Philly Pet au Pair will de-mat if it can be done painlessly, but a de-matting fee of $30 per hour will be added to your bill. If Philly Pet au Pair decides that the coat cannot be de-matted or will be too time consuming/painful to the dog or cat, the coat will be shaved.
